Carlos and Kyle grew up in Windsor in a close family with many ties to the construction industry. We would watch and listen to our uncles, grandfather and family work and discuss construction. Helping where we could from a young age we gained knowledge and skills that are hard to acquire from a classroom.

After high school Kyle gained certification in HVAC and worked for a local company. He was a supervisor for a large local metal fabrication company as well as an industrial sheet metal installer for another local firm. Both Kyle’s and Carlos’ fathers are core members of our company; they provide a wealth of knowledge and experience from over 30 years of being in the construction industry. After highschool, Carlos worked and managed at a local pizzeria while attending the University of Windsor.

During the spring and summers he worked with his father and brother framing homes, completing concrete projects, interior renovations and exterior additions. He learned about property management while working with the City of Windsor as a student and learned about supervising as an HSSE Head and site supervisor on multiple projects. After teaching for 7 years in Labrador and the Middle East, he came back to Canada, reconnected with Kyle and family and started the family business - MWO Construction.
